WATERWORKS INTRODUCES THE PERFECT BATH SOLUTION
Waterworks Studio, a collection of new fittings, surfaces, and furnishings, debuts in showrooms nationwide
NEW YORK (September 2011)– Known for bringing impeccable style, craftsmanship, and service to the bath and kitchen, Waterworks is pleased to announce the expansion of Waterworks Studio. From fittings, surfaces, and furnishings Waterworks Studio offers the perfect bath solution with an assortment of styles, colors, and finishes that embody the enduring essence of Waterworks heritage: classic design, fine craftsmanship, and exceptional quality.
“Waterworks Studio offers our design-minded clients bath collections that are thoughtfully edited for simplified design solutions that range from the most traditional to sleekly modern. The fittings and surfaces all retain the Waterworks aesthetic that brand loyalists have appreciated for 30 years. We envision Waterworks Studio as the ideal alternative for a new customer who may be a first time home buyer, or existing customer who may be designing multiple baths or additional residences, as well as a great option for the hospitality sector. When the consumer begins navigating the complicated sourcing process, our hope is that Waterworks Studio will be the perfect, accessible option,” comments Barbara Sallick, Co-Founder and SVP Design of Waterworks.
The assortment includes four families of fittings, Highgate, Roadster, Transit, and Flyte and four families of tile surfaces, Campus, Cottage, Metrix, and Stone. New bath accessories introductions include Wallingford and Palm Springs.
FITTINGS – Lavatory Faucets
The moderate scale and flawless style of the Highgate collection evokes a sense of timelessness. The traditional English fitting is reminiscent of a classic 1920’s design – this is the most classic of the Waterworks Studio collection.
Roadster is a sportier design with a nod to a vintage MG car design, as the name implies. This fitting conveys post Art Deco style that provides a cheerful and jaunty feel in bathroom design.
The Transit collection begins the transition from a very traditional look to a more contemporary selection. This solid and tailored fitting makes a bold statement.
The highly sophisticated Flyte collection conveys an elemental and geometric feel. This fitting features clean lines with no extraneous parts. Flyte’s bare bones design evokes a bird in flight.
Each collection in the fittings category consists of lavatory faucets, shower systems, tub fillers, and spouts, as well as accessories such as a towel bar, hook, and bath paper holder.
The Campus collection is the classic go-to line for all types of designs and projects where basic colors are of prime importance. A simplified color palette selection of whites and creams convey a clean and fresh look in the bath.
The Metrix tile is made on a thicker body with sharp edges for a precise look and feel. The white and cream color palette of the tile can be accented with a number of colorful sticks for added affect.
The Cottage collection retains quintessential elements of traditional architecture, transitioning into a 21st century style. The assortment includes a collection of tile in a white and cream color palette and a number of decorative elements.
The Stone collection features a selection of three stone surfaces in palettes that includes white, cream, or grey with coordinating decorative accents and mosaic options. The tiles are offered in two basic sizes of 3 x 6 and 6 x 6.
FURNISHINGS- Decorative Accessories
The Wallingford collection is made of Aged Nickel for a clean look. This striking assortment includes a lotion pump, soap dish, tumbler, small jar, a tray, tissue box and wastebasket.
The Palm Springs collection was inspired by elements found at the beach. The four piece collection, made of Chinese Oak with a metal trim, includes a lotion pump, soap dish, tumbler, and a small jar.
Waterworks Studio will be available at Waterworks showrooms nationwide in fall 2011, as well as at the new online store in mid November. Waterworks Studio will also be available through wholesale dealers in 2012. The fittings, surfaces, and furnishings in the Waterworks Studio collection join the soft furnishings and accessories collection introduced last year.
